Lauren DiCioccio embroiders meticulous sculptures of commonplace, mass-produced items, e.g. plastic bags, water bottles, and various paper media. a solo exhibition of her recent works opened yesterday and will be showing through the end of the year at Jack Fischer Gallery in San Francisco.
this is my coworker’s show. i have been watching it come together over the last few months and helped her frame the work and build pedestals. i assure you that it is worth a visit.
